Drucilla Parks

Drucilla Parks passed away Friday, March 1, 2012 at University of Michigan Health System. Age 48 years. She was born March 22, 1964 in Jackson, Tennessee the baby girl of 17 children born to Freddie and Jewel Parks.
Drucilla was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan but often traveled to Benton Harbor, Michigan to visit her family and friends. She was a graduate of Benton Harbor High School. Drucilla was a member of First Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. R.B. Ouellette. She loved spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. Drucilla enjoyed talking on the phone with friends and family, playing cards, singing and having a good time. She was a very outspoken and fun person to be around. Drucilla would help anyone in need. She will be truly missed by those who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory four daughters, Tanisha and Augustine Parks, both of Saginaw, Michigan, Sheronda and LaKeisha Parks, both of Benton Harbor, Michigan; one son, Jamie Rheams; grandchildren, DWajane and Robin Young III, DTaevon Allen, all of Saginaw, Michigan, Zarria, MarQuanae and MarQunel Tillman, Ronnie Williams, LaMariay and JaMario Booker, all of Benton, Harbor, Michigan; godchildren, Meldon Johnson, Kayla and Karra Dyson, Eric Weakley, Khadejah Wells and Tanesha Price; six sister, Ethel Mae Burton, Betty Sterling, Martha Shields and Martha Ann Parks, all of Tennessee, Donna (Sukhuir) Singh and Mary Lou B., both of Benton Harbor, Michigan; three brothers, Goodman (Terry), Larry (Bobby) and Freddy Parks, all of Benton Harbor, Michigan; two uncles, Willie B. Parks, Chicago, Illinios, James Parks, Tennessee; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Thomas Baskin, Hattie and Barbara Davis, Bobbie Parks, Linda Sims, Dorothy Blake and Diane Davis.
Drucilla was preceded in death by her parents, Freddie and Jewel Parks, her husband, Ronnie Williams, one granddaughter, Taniya Young, three sisters, Nancy and Margrett Parks, Doris Dotson, two brothers, T.L. Dotson and Cecil Parks.
The family would like to express special thanks to the University of Michigan Health System, Ivan E. Phillips and the staff of Paradise Funeral Chapel.
Her remains will be laid to rest beside her mother in Jackson, Tennessee.
