Our beloved father, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend, Mr. Duane Calhoun was called home to be with his Heavenly Father on Saturday, August 24, 2013. Age 49 years. He was born July 26, 1964 in Saginaw, Michigan to Booker Kidd and Gloria Calhoun.
Duane was a faithful employee at Goodwill Industrial. He enjoyed fishing and playing basketball. Duane was loved by many. He was well known for his sense of humor and uplifting spirit. Duane loved spending time with his friends and family. Gone but not forgotten, his presence will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving companion, Pamela Burton; one son, Duane Hines; one daughter, Diamond Calhoun; two sisters, Temeka and Aricka Trammell; five brothers, Jeff III, Jackie, Derrick and Kenneth Trammell, Mark Gipson, Booker Kidd Jr. both of Atlanta, Georgia ; mother and father-in-law, Gladys and Robert Marlow; sister-in-law, Latoya Marlow; four aunts, Calruth Callum, Detroit, Michigan, Malina Barlow and Gail Calhoun-Crittendon both of Saginaw, Michigan, Jackie Kidd; four uncles, Wade Jr. and Carnell Calhoun of Houston, Texas, James Calhoun of Saginaw, Michigan, Melvin Trammell Sr.; several nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends including special cousins, Allen Doyglass, Michelle Barlow, Cory and Snap Calhoun.
Duane was preceded in death by his parents, Gloria Calhoun Trammell and Booker Kidd; a special grandmother, Mattie T. Calhoun; one aunt, Rose Kidd.
