Duane Lemar Hall (Lansing)

Duane Lamar Hall passed away Thursday, February 10, 2022 peacefully at home at the young age of 52 years old. He was born April 3,1969 in Lansing, Michigan to parents, Johnny & Dorothy Hall.

Duane was raised in Lansing, Michigan where he attended Lewton Elementary, Dwight Rich Middle School, and Everett High School. As a young child he was very adventurous and enjoyed playing with his friends, catching snakes and bugs in open fields, climbing trees, building forts, and of course creating countless memories and shared experiences with his four siblings. He loved history and action movies, and during his adolescent years, even became a punk rocker and loved rock n’ roll throughout his life!  

As an adult, Duane was a hard worker and worked many jobs over the years. He loved going on camping trips, fishing, and nature walks with his children. He had a kind heart and never had a problem helping others. Duane gave his life to the Lord at The Shepherd’s Chapel in 2013 and again in 2022.      

Duane leaves to cherish his memory, his long-time sweetheart girlfriend, Theresa Redwine; children, Tristin Hall, Brianna Hall, and Pauleana Marie Shaw, grandkids, King Shaw (8), Prince Shaw (7), Legend Shaw (5) & Hudson Shaw (3); father, Johnny Lee Hall Sr.; siblings, Johnny Lee (Rebecca) Hall, Jr., Loretta Hall, Gwendolyn (Lonnie)Thurman-Pryor, and Anthony Hall, special brother-in-law, Sunday Lee Thurman, Sr., many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. 

Duane was preceded in death by his loving mother, Dorothy Jean Hall; grandparents, Aubrey and Eva Hall,  Arthur and Alice Shelby. and special nephew, Aubrey Hall.
