Dwane Jordan Williams

June 19, 1958 — May 7, 2023

Mr. Dwane Jordan Williams went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 7, 2023, in Saginaw, Michigan, at the age of 64 years. He was born June 19, 1958, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Wardell E. Williams and Dorothy L. Williams.


Dwane confessed his love for Christ and united with St Paul Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Saginaw High School, Class of ‘77. Dwane was self-employed as a carpenter doing odd jobs after having worked for General Motors, Hemlock Semi-Conductor, Orkin Pest Control, and as a bus driver for the City of Dallas. Dwane married his childhood sweetheart, Sharron Michelle Hall; following the dissolution of their marriage, they remained close friends until his death.


He leaves to cherish his memory two beautiful daughters, Charice (Sebastian Sr.) Manley of Lake Orion, Michigan, and Shelbi (Philip) White of Nashville, Tennessee; handsome sons, Nicholas Perkins of Italy and Joshua Perkins of Arkansas; sisters, Doretta Williams, Nancy Williams, and Rita Williams all of Saginaw, Michigan, Patricia Williams, Indianapolis, Indiana; brother, Daniel Williams of Texas; grandchildren, Amara, Sebastian Jr., Saniya and Tramell Manley all of Michigan, Jewel, Noah, and Nala White of Tennessee, and Nylah Perkins, New York; grand-dogs, Angel (Saniya) and Remi (Jewel); nieces, Stephanie, Sabrina, and Shawnda Williams; nephews, Corey Williams, Jesse (BJ) McDaniel, and Brandon Williams; special nieces and nephews, Crystal Jenkins, Coreyon Cooper, Troy Williams, Jr., Jasmine Hall, Chelsea Hall, and Charon Reynolds; many great-nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends including special friends, Pastor Vincent McMillion, Darrell Alston, Brent “Monk” Hall, Kenneth Reynolds, Donald Ogelsby, Leon Gibson, Tommie Carter, Larry Owens, Norman Grayson, the Hall Family, and the 15th Street neighborhood Family.


Dwane was preceded in death by his parents, Wardell E. Williams and Dorothy L Williams; brother, Delbert Williams, two nephews, Quincy and Troy Williams; dear friend, Judith Coleman and “road dawg,” Richard Dean Cantu.


The family would like to thank the staff of Ascension St. Mary’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Ivan E. Phillips and the Staff of Paradise Funeral Chapel.
