Mr. Earl Taylor passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022, at his residence in Saginaw, Michigan, at the age of 71 years. Earl was born January 10, 1951, in Bassett, Arkansas, to Rosie Mae and William Boyd.

He relocated to Saginaw, Michigan, where he served faithfully at St. Luke's Temple Church of God in Christ under the leadership of the late Pastor Archie Smith. Earl was employed at the Saginaw Malleable Iron Foundry for 25 years. He later retired and moved to Cebu, Philippines. Earl enjoyed playing dominoes, fishing, watching wrestling and football (Kansas City Chiefs).


He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 31 years, Alma Taylor; one daughter, Vanessa (Ryan) Taylor; one son, Earl Taylor Jr; three sisters, twin, Earlene Whitson, Annie (Henry) Kimbrough, and Barbara Harris; one aunt, Jeanette (Lloyd) Riley Sr; many cousins; mother and father-in-law, Colitha and Felicislmo; sister-in-law, Louise Taylor; many other relatives and friends including special cousin, Lloyd Riley, and special friend, Sam Caldwell.


Earl was preceded in death by both parents Rosie Mae and William Boyd; sisters, Dorothy Bell and Barbara Boyd; brothers, Billy Edwards, Michael Taylor, Arthur Lee Boyd, William Boyd, and Flenough Boyd.
