Earl Trouse

Mr. Earl Trouse, a wonderful father, brother, grandfather, and friend, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023, at Covenant HealthCare Harrison. Age 80 years. He was born on February 9, 1943, in Greenville, Mississippi, to Ledora Price and Julur Trouse.

Mr. Trouse moved to Saginaw, Michigan in 1964. Earl had a “big heart,” and would always help out if he could. Earl loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was employed by General Motors (Saginaw Steering Gear) retiring in 1992, and was affiliated with UAW Local 669. He loved sports, and he played on a softball team, “Bad News Bears,” winning many trophies. Earl later coached his own team. He was a man of style who loved to dress, enjoyed music (mainly the Blues), going to concerts, and the casino, and playing the daily lottery. His favorite car was Buick. Earl was old-school; he believed in discipline. He was an honest and strong man of faith and was blessed to live a good life. Earl will be missed.

He leaves to cherish loving memories three daughters, Jacqueline Trouse, Nicole Manuel, and Ayana Manuel; three sons, David Manuel, Stephen Manuel, and Gilbert Bandy; twenty grandchildren, Dominique, Diamond, and Delion Trouse, DaNia, David Jr., Jamarion, Ramon, and Alaiah Manuel, Gary, Ceiara, and Malik Manuel, De’Torrian Johnson; Lamiyah and Trayveon Manuel, Brianna and Michael Hill, Ra’Kyiah, and Anari Manuel, Dana Harris, and Aniyla Bell; four sisters, Flora, Rosie, Teresa and Brenda; four brothers, Bennie, Albert Jr., Melvin, and Nauthion; many nieces and nephews in Saginaw, Michigan; one uncle, Calvin Thomas “Coolee;” many cousins in Chicago, Illinois and Mississippi; other relatives and special friends, Shirley Manuel, Barbara Williams, Clyde, Carri Tolliver, Christella K. Brown, Cazell, Van Robinson, and Cornelia Manuel-Adway

Mr. Trouse was preceded in death by his parents, Ledora Price, Julur Trouse, and Albert Price; grandparents, Bennie and Rosie Thomas; son, Gary Manuel; brother, Henry; and sister, Ora Thomas.
