Mrs. Earnice D. Husband transitioned to her heavenly home on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 in Lansing, Michigan. Age 68 years. She was born on July 17, 1950 in Luxora, Arkansas to Sinclair and Eva L. Aldridge.
A beloved wife, mother, sister and aunt who will be dearly missed by all. “Necie” as many called her, lived in Lansing, Michigan and was a member of Union Missionary Baptist Church. She attended Lansing Public Schools and was a graduate of J. W. Sexton High School and worked at various places throughout the Lansing area.
Necie was united in holy matrimony to Terrell J. Husband and were blessed to raise 2 daughters.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, dancing, listening to music, hosting parties and always took great pride in her appearance.
She leaves to cherish her memories her 2 daughters, Mrs. Karla M. (Willie Joe) Calloway and Ms. Shawnette L. Husband; brother, Carl W. Aldridge; special nieces, Mrs. Rhea D. (Michael) McCarty and Ms. Tela-Moynai’ L. Aldridge; great-niece, Shadaira McCarty; great-nephews, Michael McCarty Jr., Re’jere McCarty and AaZan Reese; 3 aunts, Gertrude Pointer, Deloris Aldridge of Lansing, Michigan and Versie Aldridge of Blytheville, Arkansas; uncle, Clarence Aldridge, Jr. of Blytheville, Arkansas; many other cousins and friends including special friend, Valerie Allen.
Necie was preceded in death by her husband, Terrell J. Husband; parents, Sinclair and Eva L. Aldridge; sisters, Agnes L. Aldridge and Cheryl L. Aldridge and brother, William H. Aldridge.
