Mrs. Ebony Monique Thomas-Taylor passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022, in Saginaw, Michigan. Age 40 years. She was born August 18, 1981, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Curtis Thomas and Marcella McMurren.
Ebony, a resident of Saginaw, Michigan, was employed at the Apple Tree Inn and also worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for 17 years at Helping Hands Compassionate Care. Ebony received her license in cosmetology in 1999, and she loved to do hair. She also loved singing, dancing, keeping up with the latest fashions, joking, telling childhood memories and being around her children and family. Ebony will be greatly missed.
She leaves to cherish loving memories her husband, Davoriol Taylor; three daughters, La’key’Shay, Nilah, and Z’Mya; one stepdaughter, Shardaria; parents, Marcella (Timothy) Mathew, and Curtis (Jean) Thomas; grandmother, Claudia Cooper; five sisters, Tasha, LaKisha, Patricia, Gloria (Rick), and Verna; brothers, Wesley (Maria), and Andre; eight nieces, Morgan, Tim’mia, Amarijah, Breanna, Teresa, Aaliyah, Aalonah, and Bailey; eight nephews, Marcel, Andre, Chancellor, Baby Leland, Shavez, Cameron, Jordan, and Johnathan; mother-in-law, Mary Burgin; brother-in-law, Rafael; many other relatives and friends, including special friends, Pamela Jones, and Larry West.
Ebony was preceded in death by Wesley Linzsey Sr; stepsister, Wesseria Brewer; cousins, Thurman McMurren and Shardae Davenport.
