Mr. Edd Donald passed away on Friday, December 30, 2016 at Heartland Health Care Center-Saginaw. Age 61 years. He was born on April 18, 1955 in Salis, Mississippi to Melvin and Annie Donald.
Edd moved to Saginaw, Michigan during his youth where he attended Saginaw Public Schools and Saginaw High School. He accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour at an early age. Edd was employed by General Motors Delphi Plant and was a member of UAW Local 699. Edd loved fishing, hunting, and spending time with family and friends. He was a great provider of his family. Edd liked to dress-up and have fun. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish loving memories his devoted wife of 27 years, Rosemary Donald of Saginaw, Michigan; two daughters, Wendy Christian and Virginia Dunn; five sons, Brian (Tara) Nelson, Jerry Bass, Monte (Ashanti) Wilson, Deedrick (Latoya) Lowe, and DeQuavion Anderson; two step-children, Shakila Mack, and James Quentin Mack; twenty-six grandchildren; his parents, Melvin and Annie Donald; seven sisters, Diane Holliman, Emma Donald, Ella (Isaiah) Smith, Maggie Donald, Delphine Donald, Martha (Rick) Jones and Mary Greer; four brothers, Melvin Donald, Jr., Dennis (Glenda) Donald, Lonnie Donald and Earl (Christy) Winters; twelve nieces including a special niece, Tisha "T-Ma" Donald; seven nephews including a special nephew, Von Donald; five aunts, Emma Newton, Ressie Burnside, Nettie (Charles) Huley, all of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Helen Howard, North Carolina, Erma Shorter, Saginaw, Michigan; four uncles, Mike Campbell, Sam Campbell, Mitchell Campbell, Dan Campbell; a host of cousins and extended family including the Evans family; three sisters-in-law, Evelyn (Aggie) Sutton, Gwen (Clarence) Patterson, Beverly Garrison; one brother-in-law, Sherwin (Jackie) Mack; many other relatives and friends, including special friends, Herbert Beverly and Kenny Hicks; and a special brother-in-law, Isaiah Smith.
Edd was preceded in death by his grandparents Melvin and Wardine Donald, Mike and Magnolia Campbell; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ben and Ethel Mack; five uncles; one son-in-law; and one grandson.
The family would like to express thanks to the staff at Covenant Hospital, Heartland Health Care Center of Saginaw, and all of his care givers.
