Eddie Glasscoe (Lansing)

Mr. Alfred Edward “Eddie” “Buck” Glasscoe passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. Age 58 years. He was born on September 10, 1961 in Lansing, Michigan. Eddie was the youngest son of the late Arthur L. Glasscoe, Sr. and Aldermease Glasscoe.

Buck was a lifelong reside of Lansing. He loved basketball and had an infectious smile that could light up a room. There was a special place in Eddie’s heart for his family especially his children, siblings, and lifetime companion Zanobia.

He leaves to cherish his memory longtime companion and love of his life, Zanobia Blocker; four sons, Curlez, Zanlwan, Allahjuan and Edris; four sisters, Catherine Hardges-Glasscoe, Jacqueline Carter, Alfreida Glasscoe and Deborah (Harold) Peters; five brothers, Arthur L. (Toni) Glasscoe, Jr., Michael (Toni) Glasscoe, Clayton (Nancy) Glasscoe, Marcus (Rachel) Glasscoe and Marion Glasscoe; uncle, David (Eliza) Dixson and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends including special friend, Fernando Brown.

He was preceded in death by parents, Arthur L. Glasscoe, Sr. and Aldermease Glasscoe; sisters, Nellie Glasscoe Raines and Brenda Joyce Glasscoe; brother Larry DeWayne Glasscoe; other relatives, Alberta Bennett, Hettie and Esau Bethea, Robert Stanley, Jobo Stanley and Dhoni Stanley.
