The Lord looked and said, Come my child, the time is here for you to be at peace. Eddie J. Stuckey (Pete) was called home to be with his Lord and Savior. He put down his long length of illness and picked up his wings on Sunday, April 15, 2012 at his residence. Age 71 years. He was born May 28, 1940 in Batonia, Mississippi to Tommie and Ceola Stuckey. Eddie accepted Christ at an early age at New Pleasants Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Bentonia, Mississippi. He relocated to Saginaw, Michigan in 1967, where he joined and served many years with Tabernacle Baptist Church family. He joined the Messiah Missionary Baptist Church family in 1995 and served faithfully in the male chorus and on Messiahs Finest kitchen committee until his illness. Eddie retired from General Motors after thirty years of service and was a member of UAW Local 668. The captain has left and leaves to cherish his memory his best friend and love of his life, Eliza Stuckey; three sons, Carl Stuckey, Pennsylvania, Kenny Stuckey and Dennis Mayes, both of Saginaw; three daughters, Kathy (Randy) McGills and Pamela Redrick, both of Texas, Velvet Stuckey, Saginaw; grandchildren, Shaquita (Will) Smith, Mississippi, TAndre (Anna) Stuckey, Germany, NaJa Redrick and Michael Rizzo, both of Texas, Daniel West Jr., Tera Cooper (Lil Momma), Antjuane Cooper II (Lil man), Keydriarra Champion, Dennis Mayes Jr., Mariah Mayes; one great-grandson, Jordan Smith; two brothers, Sam (Edna) Stuckey and Richard Stuckey, both of Mississippi; four sisters, Earlean Fields and Gladys (Otis) Roach, both of Mississippi, Alzey Orr, Saginaw, Minnie (Sonny) Gant, California; two sisters-in-law, Ida Mae Stuckey, Saginaw, Ora B. Stuckey, Mississippi; many other loved ones and close friends. Eddie was predeceased by his parents, Tommie and Ceola Stuckey; two brothers, Bill Stuckey, Tommie Stuckey Jr.
