Eddie Louis Key Sr. Buddy passed away Sunday, November 10, 2013 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Age 67 years. He was born March 19, 1946 in Florence, Alabama to Sampson and Annie Key.
Eddie was a 1964 graduate of Saginaw High School. He served in the United States Air Force for 14 years. Eddie was employed with Saginaw Steering Gear for over 30 years. He was a very outgoing, happy go lucky person who loved to travel and spend time with family and friends. He enjoyed watching sports on TV. Eddie was a great husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle whose presence will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Annie Ruth Key; two children, Dawn and Eddie Key Jr.; two stepchildren, Angela Coleman and Marchalle Collins; his grandchildren, Donte, Myles, Shiann and Shaine Key, S. Lynn, Davano Coleman and Zyera Cook; one brother, James (Bernadette) Key; two sisters, Janet Key and LeKoya Lane; three nieces, Jeana (Eddie) Thigpen Jr., Jamesha and Jennifer Key; four great-nieces and three great-nephews; many other relatives and friends including his special friends, Willie Brewer Jr., Randall Rivers, James Owens, Joe Billings and Vollie Beeman.
Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Sampson and Annie Key, his grandparents, aunts and uncles, one nephew, James Key.
