Mrs. Edna Earl Wright, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. She was born was born May 17, 1966 in Osceola, Arkansas to Patsy Parks and Terry Patterson. She passed away. Age 52 years.

Edna was a graduate of Saginaw High School, “Class of 1984”, where was a track star, softball and basketball standout. Post high school, she attended Northwood University. She accepted Christ at an early age and never lost her zeal for God. She was a faithful member of Bethlehem Temple Church under the leadership of Pastor Curtis Johnson.

Edna loved spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. She was a sweet woman with a heart of gold. She loved fiercely and gave of herself willingly. There will never be another Edna Earl Wright.

Edna gained her wings on April 3, 2019 and was met at heaven’s gates by her father, Terry Patterson; brother, Jo-Willie Davis; grandmother, Ruthie Parks; great-grandmother, Elvie Nickelson; aunt, Ruby Parks; uncles, Willie Parks, Sylvester Deaner, Rickey Parks; cousin, Michael Jones.

She leaves lasting memories with her husband Darrell Wright; mother, Patsy Parks; daughter, Jasmine Williams; son, Terramie Wright; stepson, Cedric Hermann; grandchildren, Jayda and Boston; sisters, Barbara, Hattie Davis; brother, Alan (Tiffany) Parks; nieces, Shantaria (Reginald) Smith, Shawnika, Shaniya, Azaria; nephews, James (Clarissa) Sanders, Terry (Sikeya), Daryl Black, Johnnie Davis; aunts, Ann and Sally Parks, Katie Jones; uncles, Jessie, C.W. Parks; mother-in-law, Dorothy Wright; sister-in-law, Marlene Hayes; brother-in-law, Melvin Hayes; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends, including special friend, Margaret from Little Rock, Arkansas.

The family would like to express special thanks to the New Christ Community Church Friends and Family, Yolanda Turner, David Mack, Ivan E. Phillips and the Staff of Paradise Funeral Chapel.
