She accepted Christ at an early age and continued her Christian learning in Chicagos Christ Miracle and Healing Center. After moving to Lansing, Margo became a member of Macedonia Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend John Irvin Williams. She later joined her sisters, Cossetta and
Jennifer, at Pentecostal Outreach Church of God in Christ, (Tabernacle of David), under the leadership of the late Larry M. Trice, Sr. Margo has served in many capacities at the Tabernacle of David: Ministerial Alliance, Intercessors, Education, Sunday School Teacher and whatever her hands found to do.

Margo was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Winifred and her brother, Albert Lee Perkins, Jr.

Perhaps you sent a lovely card or sat quietly in a chair.
Perhaps you sent a floral piece, If so, we saw it there.
Perhaps you spoke the kindest words
As any friends could say,
Perhaps you were not there at all,
Just thought of us this day.
Whatever you did to console our hearts,
We thank you so much, Whatever the part.
The family of Margo Perkins

Very special thanks to Dr. TaLawnda Bragg and Dr. Brett Brinker of Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital of Grand Rapids, MI and the entire staff for the special care you gave to Margo. Margo you will truly be missed, your smile was warm and genuine your walk sure and steady. Your hands always busy and blessed and your understanding beyond measure at times. But it was your love for life that touched so many. Margo you will be truly missed.
Love, Carla
