Master Elijah Daron Dillard gained his Heavenly wings and flew into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at the age of 6 years old. He was born June 20, 2007 in Belleville, Illinois to Mio Campbell and Aki Dillard.
Elijah was a 1st grade student at Jessie Rouse Elementary School who had dreams of becoming a boxer. His favorite color was green and he was learning to play basketball with his god brother. Elijah also loved to ride bikes with his cousin. He was a sweet and very talkative little boy who was so full of life. Elijah loved to sing and his favorite song was Take Me to the King by Tamala Mann. Gone too soon but never forgotten, his remarkable presence will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory three sisters, Azaria Williams, Aishah Mister-Dillard and Ameka Dillard; his god parents, Omarr and Tatanesha Dillard; several aunts, uncles and cousins; many other relatives and friends including special relatives, Earlynn Wilson and Demore Harris, Randolph and Tamalar Perry, Shnecia and Anthony Harris, Adjia Dillard, Rayshawna Blackmon and Carrie Cross.
