Elizabeth Jeanne Vietti (Lansing)

Ms. Elizabeth Jeanne Vietti passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021, at her residence in Lansing, Michigan. Age 57 years. She was born March 17, 1964, the daughter of Bonnie Dean and Curtis Vietti in Saginaw, Michigan.

Elizabeth lived in Lansing, Michigan. She earned her master’s degree in Social Work from Wayne State University, located in Detroit, Michigan in 1992. She was currently employed as a mental health therapist for Highfields Therapy Solutions and Substance Abuse. Elizabeth also was currently employed as a Mental Health Therapist at Professional Psychological and Psychiatric Services. Her passion was helping others who were unable to help themselves which she did for many years. Elizabeth met everyone with a smile and has been able to change so many lives. She leaves behind a lifetime of fond and loving memories. Elizabeth loved her Detroit Lions, reading her James Patterson books, and spending time with her grandkids made her very happy. She was a beautiful and loving soul.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Tarha (Bill) Schiebner; 3 grandchildren, Emily Schiebner, Lily Schiebner and Chastin Schieber; sister, Sabrina Mims; brother, Curtis (Kristen)Vietti, Jr.; 2 nieces, Sa’Taitshia Mims, her goddaughter, and Breanna Vietti; 2 nephews, Willis Mims, Jr., her godson, and Angelo Vietti; many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Bonnie Dean, and father, Curtis Vietti, Sr.; maternal grandparents, John and Helen Varney; and paternal grandparents, Joseph and Elizabeth Vietti.
