Elizabeth Joyner

February 10, 1923 — June 21, 2011

We the family, thank God for the gift of Elizabeth Joyners life. Our mother departed this life on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at Bay Regional Medical Center. Age 88 years. She was born Elizabeth Everline Jones, February 10, 1923 in Miller, Mississippi to Lem and Emma Jones.
She was baptized in the Church of Christ at an early age. Often you could hear her say dont let him catch you with your work undone; were crossing over, one by one. Elizabeth has been a comfort in the lives of those she knew and loved. If you knew her, you know she didnt need to be loud to be heard. Elizabeth was not a complaining person; she was quiet, never spoke loud or got too angry. Always
loving and supportive; trusting God to handle the things in her life. Her children always knew that she was understanding, she didnt care what you did, she loved you unconditionally.
She leaves to cherish sweet memories one daughter, Glenda Jefferys Bay City, Michigan; three sons, Clarence Sr. (Tommie Jean) Joyner, Anthony (Gina) Jefferys, Bay City, Michigan, Willie (Marcee)Jefferys, Memphis, Tennessee; one sister, blessed to be 92 years old, Mattie Conner, Chicago, Illinois; one sister-in-law, Mary Jones, Madison, Illinois who will miss her dearly; grandchildren, Beverly Jones, Tanya Brooks, Charles Brooks Jr, Myron Brooks, Tammy Joyner, Elton Joyner, Kathy Harris, Clarence Joyner Jr., Tracie Joyner, Blayton Joyner, Mark Joyner, Malinda Joyner, Tiffany Jefferys, Carandus Jefferys, Ariel Jefferys, Willie Jefferys Jr., Terre (ReRe) Roberts, Keandra Jefferys, Shaila Jefferys, Anthony Jefferys Jr., Michelle Jefferys; many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
