Elizabeth Richmond

January 17, 1962 — December 8, 2014

Elizabeth Ann Everett-Richmond was granted her angel wings on December 8, 2014. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that she had touched in some small way throughout her short, yet very memorable life.
Elizabeths life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Her gentle smile, laughter and gift of singing brought so much joy to our family.
Though she had become weakened and frail from her illness, she gave us all such courage and hope and reminded us of the preciousness of life. She loved to sing. She could spend hours singing her favorite songs, worshipping and praising God while encouraging those she loved so much. She left this life praising and thanking God.
Elizabeth was born on January 17, 1962 in Saginaw, Michigan to Mr. and Mrs. Tellis Everett. She attended Saginaw Public Schools. There she played basketball and was in the Gospel Soul Choir, those were her two loves, singing and basketball.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory and to carry on her legacy of love, two sons and two daughters, Shelton Everett, Tamara Richmond, Shardai Richmond and David Richmond all of Saginaw, Michigan; one sister, and five brothers, Bruce Mosley of Baltimore, Maryland, Tellis (Joann) Everett of Shreveport, Louisiana, Terry (Linda) Everett of Saginaw, Michigan, Carl Mosley Everett of Saginaw, Michigan, Gregory (Kaye) Everett of Toledo, Ohio, Kathleen (Edgar) Rainey of Ypsilanti, Michigan, Demona (Glen) Reed, Audrey Parker and William Aldridge all of Saginaw, Michigan; twenty-two nieces and nephews; thirteen grandchildren; a very dear friend, and sisters, Ineka Nelson, Sharrie Williams, Melanie Barnes, Margaret Carter, and Ruth. Two special young ladies, her goddaughters, Crystal and Stacey; godsons, Corderro Buford and Jamal (Stick) Williams.
She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, nephew and sister.
Though gone from our presence, she will always remain in the hearts and minds of all of us who loved her.
