Mrs. Emma Lee "Boot" Burgins went through those golden gates of Heaven on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at her residence in Saginaw, Michigan. Age 82 years. Emma was born January 27, 1940, to the late Estella Hibbler and Jack Prince in Panola, Alabama.
Emma loved her family, going to the casino, cooking, fishing, and loved worshipping and praising the Lord anywhere she went. Until her health failed, she would visit different churches within the city.
Emma leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 53 years, Fed Burgins; three daughters, Ida (Maxwell) McKinney, and Mildred Johnson, both of Saginaw, Michigan, and Winona Laura, Flint, Michigan; two sons, Fredrick Burgins, Lakeland, Florida, and Marcel Hank, Orlando, Florida; grandchildren, Shirley McKinney, Southfield, Michigan, and Maxwell McKinney Jr, Saginaw, Michigan; two sisters, Shirley (Rick) Baber, and Odessa Hibbler; two brothers, David (Lillian) Hibbler, and Havand Hibbler, all of Saginaw; two goddaughters, Barbara Crook, and Amelia Scott; many cousins, nieces, nephews; a special niece, Tajma Hibbler; special cousin, Hattie McClain; many other special family and great friends including members of the McClain, Swilley, and Richardson Family, and all our dear friends in the neighborhood and on Capehart Drive.
Emma was preceded in death by her parents, Estella Hibbler and Jack Prince; grandmother, Ida Mae Jackson; and aunt, Rosie Richardson.
