Eric Humes (Lansing)

Mr. Eric Emal Humes passed away Friday, August 4, 2023, in Lansing, Michigan. Age 24 years. Eric was born December 22, 1998, in Lansing, Michigan, to mother, Anitra Dickey and Father, Eric Humes, Sr.

Eric attended Liberty Church of Grand Ledge with his family. And he enjoyed playing basketball and concentrating on his fitness regiment. Eric was utterly enthralled by working out and taking care of his body. Recently, he began working for Allied Interiors; he enjoyed working there as it kept him active.

Eric's family and friends will remember many wonderful things about him, but one thing that he was known for was his dependability. If Eric committed to something, he followed through - specifically when getting people from point A to point B. He was a great transporter.

He leaves to cherish his memory, parents, Anitra and Dennis Dickey and Eric Humes, Sr.; sisters, Hannah Robertson, Shakira Humes, older sister, Erica Humes, and younger sister, Erica Humes; brothers, DeShon Pittman, younger brother, Eric Humes, Jr., and Kayden Humes; grandmother, Wilodean Robertson; and many other family members and close friends, including special friends, the Pittman family.

Eric is preceded in death by his grandparents, Jessie Houston, and Casey and Sammy B. Hudson.
