Eric Pettway (Lansing)

Our beloved Eric DeShawn Pettway, transitioned on October 5, 2023 in Lansing, Michigan. Eric was born on April 11, 1978, in Lansing, Michigan to parents, Lottie Washington and Clinton Evans.

He attended Lansing Public Schools, and later Davenport College, Lansing Community College, and Career quest Learning Center. Eric owned his own businesses; Trumpet Marketing Technologies, Advertise Michigan and a few more. He loved building computers, websites, and creating new things.

Eric was a good father and teacher to his kids. He was an author and loved reading; gaining knowledge about everything. Eric was hardworking and very passionate about his Interests, inventions and business. He also loved to teach and spread his wealth of knowledge. Eric loved to cook and make music. He was a handsome, intelligent, genius minded person.

Eric leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 11 years Brandi Pettway of Lansing, Michigan; his daughter, Sarae Rembert-Pettway; sons, Eric Jr. and Elijah Pettway; two stepchildren; Precious and Tamia; his father, Clinton Evans; Stepfather Tommy Washington; siblings, Tiffany, Monique, Clintina, Tarshua, Tamar, Veronica and Corline; brothers, Tommy, Tyrell, Donshae, TJ-Terrance, Clinton Jr., Kalif and Sachel; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends including God mom, Niecy Williams.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Lottie Washington; sister, Lashanna Evans and best friend, Greg Williams.

The family would like to express special thanks to all those who have supported us during our time of loss.
