Erick "Twin E" Thompson

Mr. Erick “Twin E” Thompson was born July 7, 1972 in Saginaw, Michigan to Herbert and Doris Thompson. He passed away Monday, November 5, 2018. Age 46 years.

Erick was born and raised in Saginaw, Michigan alongside his five brothers. He was a student of Saginaw Public Schools and attended Saginaw High School. Erick received his General Education Diploma (GED). He was working at a brewery in Frankenmuth before illness stopped him from working.

Erick enjoyed playing cards, dominoes and watching movies. He loved to laugh, have a good time and party with his family. He was outgoing and loud. Erick laughed loud, talked loud and had a loud personality. He loved his mother dearly, as only a son can and he loved his children even more fiercely. He was a good brother; loyal, protective, dependable and kind. Proverbs 17:17 describes him perfectly: “A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity.”

Erick was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Thompson, Sr.; sister, Sharon Thompson; brother, Timothy Phelon; granddaughter, Bryelle.

He leaves to honor his memory: mother, Doris Thompson; four daughters, E’Tasha, Antoinette, Deanna, Destinee Thompson; three sons, Erick, Erreon, Erick Thompson, Jr.; three stepchildren, Deon, LayLay, Vondezz; seven grandchildren, Brayden, A’mari, Chance, Chase, Bryce, Erick Jr., Quantaye; four brothers, Edward, Herbert Jr., Leadelle, Derrick (Octavia) Thompson; aunts, Tina, Rosie, Jackie, Elois; uncle, Melvin; many cousins including Cedrick, James, Corey and Lenardo; sister-in-law, Valerie Emerson; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including special friends Tunya Gray and Charlie B.

The family would like to express special thanks to their extended family, friends, the mothers of Erick’s children, and all who have supported them during this time of bereavement. May God bless you and sustain a lasting peace within your souls.
