Erma Della (Wicker) Terrell

Erma Della Terrell passed away Monday, November 25, 2013 at Healthsource Saginaw. Age 72 years. She was born July 27, 1941 in Saginaw, Michigan to Lawrence Chapel Wicker and Willie Mae Wicker.
Erma was a lifelong resident of Saginaw, Michigan. She had a work history spanning over 40 years with various Saginaw businesses which included Vescios Grocery, Garys Produce and DBM Technologies. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Ninth Street Mennonite Church and later Grace Chapel under the leadership of Pastor James H. Nelson until her health began to fail. Erma loved to bakes cakes and pies. Her specialties were red velvet cakes and sweet potato pies. She could also put together some good chicken and dressing. Gone but not forgotten, her presence will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory one daughter, Janel (Leopold) Arnett; the love of her life, her grand-daughter, Tiffany Arnett; five sisters, Betty Gaines, Gloria St. Pierre, Margie Evans, Beatrice Foster and Mary Williams; one brother, Thomas (Molly) Wicker; her god-children, the Rouster family: Kathy, Damont, Dan Jr., Danyelle and Cory; many other relatives and friends including her best friend, Judy Moore and a special neighbor, Ms. Johnnie Mae Wooten.
Erma was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Willie Mae Wicker, two brothers, Lawrence Wicker Jr. and Bruce Wicker, one infant sister.
The family wishes to express special thanks to Dr. Indira, Dr. Kim and St. Marys Cancer Center, the staff of 5 North PC at St. Marys Medical Center, the staff of Healthsource Saginaw, Mr. Ivan E. Phillips and Ms. Lynette Scott of Paradise Funeral Chapel and to all our friends and family who have shown their love and support.
