Ernestine Bonds passed away Sunday, May 26, 2013 at Covenant Healthcare-Cooper. Age 76 years. She was born March 12, 1937 in Hickman County, Tennessee to John and Terecia Smith.
Ernestine achieved her education in Wrigley, Tennessee. She attended worship services at Spiritual of Israel Church. Ernestine enjoyed cooking, dancing, gardening, fishing and listening to music. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Her presence will be truly missed.
She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Pearline Bonds of Saginaw, Michigan; one brother, Thomas William Smith; six nieces, Rose Martin, Ann (Donald) Moss, Carolyn Bowens, Linda (Ronald) Burton, Donna Bowens, Terecia (Curtis) Brown; three nephews, John (Monica) Smith, Antioch, Tennessee, Thomas Williams Jr., Nashville, Tennessee, James Leon Smith Jr., Grand Rapids, Michigan; twelve cousins; three sisters-in-law, Betty Lou Bonds, Lyles, Tennessee, Angie Smith, Nashville, Tennessee, Dorothy Smith, Saginaw, Michigan; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Catherine Garret, Lula Mae Brown and Pat Merrieweather.
Ernestine was preceded in death by her parents, John and Terecia Smith, four brothers and four sisters.
