Estherline Harry

July 28, 1954 — November 27, 2019

Hello Family,

On November 27, 2019, I sung my way into heaven as you all surrounded me with love. I was born July 28, 1954 in Saginaw, Michigan to my parents, Jessie Wright and Helen Miller. They named me Estherline but I loved to be called “Esther.” I attended Saginaw Public Schools and later worked at Houghton Elementary as a Grandparent, where all the staff and children loved me dearly.

I enjoyed my life on earth by doing what I loved best: bowling, playing bingo, camping with my kids and grandkids and going to concerts. Not to mention, I was the queen of fishing. Most of all I enjoyed spending time with my family and friends.

I dedicated my time at church by serving with the Nurses Ministry, being Church Secretary and Choir Director. I was ordained as a minster on August 3, 2003. My faithful duties were at True Love Temple of Truth Church under the leadership of the late Frank B. Minor.

But enough about me, I am leaving behind a lifetime of memories with my six daughters, twenty grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. I will truly miss my beloved daughters, Yolanda Foster, Arlington, Texas, Shaun Foster (Jeffery Harris), Katrina, Raquel, Angela and Tiffany Harry, all of Saginaw, Michigan; sisters, Verniece Davis, Saginaw, Michigan, Gloria Brooks, Atlanta, Georgia; brother, Allen (Dorothy) Foster, Chicago, Illinois; nieces, Helen Wright, Bridget Bay, Tracy Romero, Saginaw, Michigan, Kentria Pittman, Atlanta, Georgia, Terasa Foster, Benton Harbor, Michigan; nephews, Howard (DeKendra) Foster, Douglasville, Georgia, Lester (Amber) Pittman, Edmond, Oklahoma, Marvin Wright, Lansing, Michigan, Allen, Deonte, Michael Morrison, Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

I have eight goddaughters that meant so much to me. Thank you for being you; Pam, Kenya, Rhonda, Sharon, Shamell, Leatha, Trudy, all of Saginaw, Michigan and Omelia from Dallas, Texas; godson, Andrew Euell, Sr.; many other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including special friends, Mrs. Amaro, my ride and die Ethel Johnson, Mrs. Bev., Mrs. Winnie, Pastor Harold Johnson and Idella Thomas from Church of Kingdom Door in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Thank you all for your friendship. And to Cleotis Brown, please know that you will always have a special place in my heart.

Waiting for me at heaven’s gates were my parents, Jessie Wright and Helen Miller; three brothers, Owens Foster, Walter Davis, Robert Lee Foster; four grandkids; and one nephew.
