Ms. Ethel Beverly was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at the age of 95 years. She was born October 2, 1919 in Century, Florida to the late Rufus and Essie Mae Moore.
Ms. Beverly was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church where she served on the Mother Board under the leadership of Pastor Miles Franklin. She was employed at Saginaw Malleable Iron Plant, retiring in August of 1979 after over 40 years of faithful service. Ms. Beverly was also a member of UAW Local 455.
She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Brenda (Phil) Evans of Pensacola, Florida and Davida General of Saginaw, Michigan; four sons, William Beverly, Ronald Beverly, David (Joyce) General and James General all of Saginaw, Michigan; forty-one grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends including a special daughter, Mrs. Marcie Cook whom we love so very much.
Ms. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Essie Mae Moore, three brothers, Rufus Moore Jr., James Moore and Henry Smith.
The family wishes to express special thanks to Heartland Home Healthcare, Visiting Nurses and Physicians Association. A very special thanks to Linda Braddock and Bonnie Jackson for the special care and compassion shown to our loved one. We appreciate everything you have done.
