Eugene Nettles

Eugene was raised in Saginaw, Michigan and relocated to Lansing, Michigan in 1980. Eugene loved bowling, traveling, fishing, going on picnics and enjoying family outings. He was employed with Ingham Regional Medical Center for 16 yrs. as an environmental service technician. He joined Grace of Love Church of Ministries in January 2000 where he served on the usher board and then later moved into a deacon position.Eugene leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 33 years, Mildred J. Nettles; two sons, Terrence (Toshi) Liles, of Saginaw, Michigan and Andre (Phyllis) Manuel of Lansing, Michigan; one daughter, Anessia (Brian) Clay, Lansing, Michigan; grandchildren; Kaleisha Hubbert, Terry Liles, Jr., Sanaii, Sanaria Liles, of Saginaw, Michigan; AnDrea (Bryan) Coney, Markeise, Jennifer, Felisha, Keisha, Raymond and Jordan Clay, JaVaughn, Niesha, Andre Jr., Davonte, Azia, Selenia and SieEra Manuel of Lansing, Michigan; great-grandchildren, BryAnna, Bryan Jr., Braydon Coney, Alysia Clay, MaNiah, NyAhana, Nilah Davis, DaNazia Manuel all of Lansing, Michigan; David Richmond of Saginaw, Michigan; four sisters, Ada Jackson, Lucille Jones, Betty (Johnnie) Williams of Saginaw, Michigan, Earlean Nettles of Lima, Ohio; 2 brothers, Eddie (Georgia) Nettles and R.D. Nettles of Saginaw, Michigan; several nieces, nephews and cousins too numerous to mention; five sisters-in-law, Lucille Williams, Daisy Pate, Deloris James and Ora Calhoun, all of Lansing, Michigan, Mary Sledge of Arkansas; 3 brothers-in-law, Jasper Manuel of Lansing, Michigan, Tom Manuel of Jackson, Michigan and James Manuel of California.He was preceded in death by parents, John Wesley Sr. and Maggie Nettles, two brothers, John Nettles Jr. and Howard Nettles, two sisters, Martha Lee Sims, Eva Mae Bryant, one sister-in-law, Ruthie Flowers, one brother- in-law Ervin Hall and mother-in-law, Daisy Manuel.
