Eulanda Westbrook (Lansing)

Ms. Eulanda Rene Westbrook departed this life to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her loving family at 52 years old.  She was born on October 9, 1969, in Jackson, Michigan, the daughter of Luwana Westbrook.

Eulanda enjoyed cooking, fishing, and dancing; out of these three, she loved cooking the most. She loved cooking for her family and friends. Eulanda also was a faithful Michigan State University Spartan fan. She had a big heart and a smile that could light up the room.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories, her partner and caregiver for 10 years, Ronald Johnson; 5 children, Keyonta Proffit and Davonte Brown of Lansing, Michigan, Ebony Proffit, Elgin Bennett V, and Kwartez Bennett all of Seattle, Washington; grandchildren, Sanai-Ranee, Carlos III, Ca’Leel, Ca’Liyah, Alya, Kaidence, King, and Aria; 2 sisters, Angela Westbrook (DeShawn George, Sr.) and Janene (Stanley) Jordan; niece, Laqueta Westbrook; 9 nephews, Autwan Williams, Jovan Hill, Larry Westbrook, D’Angelo Westbrook, Darius Bowles, Davion Akins, DeShawn George Jr., Marquan Payne, and Hershel Payne; aunts, Patricia Smoot and Doris Westbrook; many cousins, other relatives including special relatives, Cya Jackson, Latoya Proffit, Angel LaRue as well as many bonus sisters and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Luwana Westbrook; brother, Larry Westbrook; grandparents, Rould and Elizabeth Westbrook; aunts, Eunice Oliver, Shirley Jean Westbrook, and Bessie Shivers; uncles, Ernest Roger and Leonard Westbrook; cousins, Nate Oliver and Roberta Adams as well as so many other loving relatives, too many to name.
