Ms. Fannie Mae Lee passed away January 31, 2017 at her residence in Lansing, Michigan. Age 67 years. She was born March 1, 1949 to Levi Glover and Mary Gunn in Linden, Alabama.
Fannie lived in Detroit for many years, until she moved with her sister, Pearlie Mae, to Lansing, Michigan. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for a local nursing home. Fannie loved to fish, garden, and cook. However, she loved spending time with her grandchildren most of all.
Fannie leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Willie Thomas; sons, James (Emma) Lee of Lansing, Michigan, Roderick (Danielle) Lee of Detroit, Michigan; sisters, Annie Pearl Battle of Cleveland, Ohio, Pearlie (Willie) Rembert of Lansing, Michigan; brothers, Robert (Terra) King of Buffalo, New York, William (Teresa) King, Lonnie (Cecilia) Glover both of Lansing, Michigan, Arthur (Bridgette) Jones of Buffalo, New York; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-four nieces and nephews; devoted sister-in-law, Mary Thomas, devoted God-son, L.T. Battle, devoted brother-in-law, Willie Rembert, and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Willie Glover, grandmother, Sarah King.
