Ms. Felicia Shareese Edmond transitioned to a better life on Friday, November 30, 2018 at the age of 37 years. She was born on August 2, 1981 in Jackson, Mississippi to Ms. Mary Edmond and Mr. Wilbert Travis.

Felicia received her formal education through the Lansing School District where she attended Lansing Eastern High School. She continued her education at Lansing Community College, where she earned an Associate’s Degree in Hospitality.

Felicia was a devoted mother and loved her three children wholeheartedly. She was employed at Michigan State University as a level 1 associate in the Environmental Services Department. She enjoyed shopping, attending concerts and dancing, but especially spending time with her family and friends. She knew how to brighten up your day with her smile and sense of humor. Felicia had a determined mind, that once it was set, it was not easily changed. Still she had a tender heart with a large capacity that loved people unconditionally; especially her children, fiancé and family. She was a member of Jesus of Nazareth Church of God in Christ.


Felicia leaves to cherish her memories her beloved children, Sharmonie Peters, Vivian Liddell and Jaleel Liddell; fiancé, Jemal Edward Liddel; father, Wilbert (Gloveto) Travis; sisters, Gladys Edmond, Shanda Williams, Vallene (Michael) Pates; brothers, Wilbert Edmond and James Travis; step-brother, LeAndre Chapman; uncle, L. J. (Gwen) Edmond; six nieces, Champaign Thurman, Latifah Green, Diamond Green, Shamiya Montgomery, A'Maryona Pates, Callie Pates and Princess Edmond; seven nephews, Dequaris Jackson, Samuel Thurman, Desmond Flourry, William Flourry, Jeremiah Glasscoe, Tayshawn Pates and Wilbert Edmond Jr.; many other relatives and specials friends around the various states, which includes many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Edmond-Chandler; niece, Mikhlya Pates; brother-in-law, Gregory Williams.
