Fletcher Trainor (Lansing)

Mr. Fletcher Trainor passed away Friday, October 20, 2023, in Lansing, Michigan. Age 87 years. He was born August 19, 1936, Memphis, Tennessee to Early Sr. and Rosie Trainor. He was the second of four children.

He married Will Ella on September 15, 1957. Together they had seven children. They moved to the state of Michigan in 1965. Fletcher worked for Fisher Body for 42 years.

Fletcher loved the Lord and was an active member of St. Matthew AME Church for many years.

Fletcher loved to work on small motors and bikes. Many times, he would ride his lawn mower to the church to cut the lawn as one of his personal contributions of service.

Fletcher leaves to cherish his memories, his children, Velma Trainor, Jerry Trainor, Rickie Trainor, Kelvin Trainor, and Don Ella Trainor; many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was proceeded in death by his wife, Will Ella; daughters, Diane Horton and Sharon Trainor; parents, Early Sr. and Rosie Trainor; sisters, Velma Jones and Ernestine Wallace; and brother and sister-in-law, Early Jr. and Ruth Trainor.
