Floyd Bonds

Mr. Floyd Bonds passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. Age 56 years. He was born November 24, 1965, to Clinton and Nadean Bonds.

Floyd was a graduate of Saginaw High School. He enjoyed listening to Hip Hop music, singing, taking long walks, cooking, and joking. In his leisure time, Floyd liked to watch old westerns and eat popcorn. He loved to make those around him smile, and he encouraged everyone, telling them they could do whatever they put their mind to. He enjoyed helping others work on houses and doing lawn care, always focused on getting the job done. Most importantly, Floyd loved spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.

Floyd leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Shuntal Bonds, and Stephanie Frasier; six sons, Qentori, Adrian, Floyd Jr., and Catravious Bonds, Michael Donald, and Sheldon Dawkins; four brothers, Willie Baker Bonds, David Bonds, Lawrence Bonds, and Melvin (Johnny Mae) Bonds; his former wife, Phyllis Bonds; five aunts, Lizzie Carruth, Ivy Barnette, Queenie Burnette, Ivy Menzies, and Martha Ann Weatherspoon; one uncle, Roosevelt; brothers-in-law, Jessie England, Douglas Perkins, Marcus Perkins, and Terry Crenshaw; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Floyd was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton and Nadean Bonds, and sister, Mary Baker Bonds.
