Frances Ezell

Ms. Frances Marie Alford Ezell passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2021, at the age of 65 years. She was born February 7, 1956, in New Orleans to E.S. and Eddie Lee Alford.

Frances lived most of her life in Saginaw, Michigan. She enjoyed spending time with her family, watching her favorite TV shows, Sanford and Sons, The Jeffersons, Good Times, sitcoms, westerns, and daytime soaps. Frances loved old school R&B and Gospel music. She also loved black art as she embraced her culture and showed it in her fashions and lifestyle choices. Leopard and cheetah print were some of her favorites. Frances’ favorite drink was Pepsi Cola and lemonade. She cared most about autism, breast cancer, diabetes research, heart research and Save the Children Foundation. Frances was a loving, caring, mother and grandmother, and she will forever be loved and missed.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Chanda Alford, and John McQueen; siblings, Aaron Alford, Alice Alford, Mary Alford, Pearly L. Moody, and Essie Alford Taylor; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband, John Ezell, son, Eric Alford, father, E.S. Alford, mother, Eddie Lee Alford-Thompson, brother, Ellis Steve Alford, and nephew Dameon Alford.
