Frankie Evelyn Casel

Frankie Evelyn Casel, the daughter of Jessie and Annie Lundy was born October 25, 1925 in Hancock County, Georgia. She went on to be with the Lord on Friday, April 12, 2013 at Covenant Healthcare-Cooper. Age 87 years.
Frankie accepted Christ at an early age when she joined Sycamore Baptist Church. At the time of sunset, she was a member of First Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor R.B. Ouelette. In 1951 Frankie joined Oscar Edward Casel in holy matrimony in Toledo, Ohio. He predeceased her. She received her bachelors degree in Criminal Justice. Frankie was a retired Probation Officer from the Department of Criminal Justice. She loved to cook, entertain guests, play bingo and fellowship with family and friends. Frankie had a passion for helping others. She loved being around people, was an avid bowler and enjoyed walking on the Buena Vista Township track. Her presence will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory one step-child, Frankie Casel-Baker; grandchildren, Shawn Middlebrook, Rhonda and Roman (Mychelle) Casel, Charles Chuckie, Keith (Darian) and Serena Macklin, Darrin Thomas, Tafaya Coleman; four nieces, Gracie Terry, Annie Brooks, Sandy Jefferson, Willoa Dean; two nephews, Charles (Elnora) Macklin Sr., Johnny Lundy; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Norma J. Clark, Carrie Johnson, Audrey Savage, Sherry Clark, Marvin Clark, Rosalyn Clark-Stewart, The Bragg family and Mrs. Baker.
Frankie was preceded in death by one son, Baby Frankie, her parents, Jessie and Annie Johnson Lundy, husband, Oscar Edward Casel, two sisters, Gladys Sims and Louraine Carrol, two brothers, Rafe Harden and Willie Henry Lundy.
The family wishes to express special thanks to Dr. John Bartnik, her god-daughters, Audrey Savage and Carrie Johnson and the staff of Covenant Healthcare-Cooper 4th floor ICU unit.
