Mr. Freddie B. Williams Sr., our beloved husband, son, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, June 29, 2010 with his family by his side. Age 71 years. Freddie was born January 21, 1939 in Doddridge, Arkansas to Fred and Lillian Williams.
Freddie B. joined New Hope Baptist Church at an early age. and later joined Rosehill Missionary Baptist Church in Saginaw, MI . He was employed at Saginaw Malleable Iron and was a member of UAW Local 455. He was an entrepreneur.
His memory will be cherished by his lovely wife, Shirley Williams, parents, nine children, Sharon Williams, Atlanta, GA, Myra (Allan) Colley, Freddie Williams II, Shonda (Marvin) Jones, Lillian Williams, David Williams, Saginaw, MI, Kay Williams, Flint, MI, Bridgett (Marcus) Reynolds, Grand Rapids, MI, Marcus Holmes, Barstow, CA; seventeen grandchildren all of Saginaw, MI; five brothers, Odell Abraham, Cleavin (Herise), Luis, Walter, Perry (Sheri) Williams, Texarkana, AK; four sisters, Betty (Lawrence) Ross, Northridge, CA, Emma Jean Darden, Mary L. (Ovid) Blackwell, Carol R. Cummings; four brothers-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. Howard Williams, Adelanto, CA, Mr. & Mrs. Jessie Williams, Sr., Corsicana, TX, Mr. & Mrs. Billy Williams of Irving, TX, Mr. & Mrs. Michael Williams, Dallas, TX; two sisters-in-law, Betty Eatmon, League City, TX, April Jackson (Michael), Cooper, TX, many other relatives, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family would like to express a special thanks to Rosehill Missionary Baptist Church; Dr. Byrnes; Covenant Medical Center and Rehabilitation Center.
He was well known for helping others, offering his home to those in need. He enjoyed being with family and friends and was very well loved.
Freddie B. was preceded in death by his first wife, Daisy Mae Gatewood; sister, Archielean Williams; brother, Clarence Williams.
