Freddie Mae Tillman

Ms. Freddie Mae Tillman passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan. Age 53 years. She was born February 6, 1964 in Saginaw, Michigan to Fred Peoples and Louise George.

Freddie attended Saginaw Public Schools and graduated from Saginaw High School, Class of 1981. She accepted the Lord as Savior at an early age. Freddie was cheery and family-oriented, as well as being very giving and loving to family and friends. She loved going to church, cooking, socializing, and spending quality time with her enjoyable grandchildren. Freddie will be greatly missed by her loved ones.

She leaves to cherish loving memories her daughter, Shavon George of Flint, Michigan; two grandchildren, Dreshawn Earl and Zion Earl; eight sisters, Elizabeth Hackett, Birmingham, Alabama, Juanita (Lester) Polson, Cleveland, Ohio, Barbara (James) Fleming, Sylvia (Robert) Meredith, Relinda (Pastor Rufus) Bradley, all of Saginaw, Michigan, Bonnie (Leon) Gaston, Danville, Illinois, Dellia (Charles) Williams, Saginaw, Michigan, and Marcie (Willie) Culberson, Lansing, Michigan; one brother, Freddie Cole, Saginaw, Michigan; former husband and dear friend, Alex Tillman, Saginaw, Michigan; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Freddie was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Peoples and Louise George; four brothers, Sylvester George, LeRoyal Peoples, James Peoples, and James George; one sister, Minnie Roby; grandparents and many other family and friends.
