Mr. Garry Rockett passed away on Friday, June 23, 2017 at Covenant Healthcare-Cooper. Age 62 years. He was born on May 14, 1955 in Saginaw, Michigan to Eva Dee Reed.
Garry was a member of New Faith Temple Church of God in Christ where he was a faithful member of the Wednesday night Bible Study group. He loved church and attended when he was physically able. Garry was a proud Saginaw high Trojan alumni, Class of 1973. He enjoyed driving trucks and reading his Bible.
Garry leaves to cherish loving memories his sisters, Dorthene and Bobby Skillern, Faye Bell, Altastine King and Joyce Reed; brothers, Willie Reed and Terry Rockett; many nieces and nephews; special nieces and nephews, Shakeyla Bell, Regene Sandford, Arshaneka Ross, Dominique Key, Adrianna Skillern, Perry Starling, V. Renee Sandford, Marc Skillern, Leo Bell, Brandon and Lamar Reed, Tasha and Howard Edward; cousins, Jerry, James, Isaac and Betty Staffney; other relatives and friends; special friend, Audrey Brewer.
Garry was preceded in death by his mother, Eva Dee Reed; sisters, Lillie M. Crumbley and Patricia A. Brown; brothers, Nathaniel Reed and Daniel Reed.
