Gary Charles Brown (Perry, Mi)

Mr. Gary Charles Brown passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at McLaren Greater Lansing in Lansing, Michigan. Age 80 years. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on June 16, 1942, to his parents, William Brown and Alice Brown.

Gary resided in Perry, Michigan. He was a member of New Hope Church. Gary had a strong faith and love for the Lord. He had a fierce love for his family, always supportive and the good in situations. He attended the University of Texas where he earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and Trinity University to obtain his master’s in healthcare administration. He was employed as a professor at Concordia University; Director at Physician Health Plan; and insurance agent for United Healthcare. Gary’s hobbies included fishing, golfing, being outdoors, watercolor painting, playing the drums, and had a great love for his country.

Gary leaves to cherish his loving memory his four children, Daryl Brown, Ryan Brown, Christina Acevedo, and Shannon Brown; grandchildren, Koren Brown, Olivia Acevedo, Everly Acevedo, Reece Brown, Anaiah Brown, and Micaiah Brown; sister, Linda Sampson; brother, William Brown; niece, Katie Burton; 3 nephews, Bill Brown, Christopher Brown, and Jeremy Sampson; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Brown and Alice Brown.
