Gary Vance Davis, Sr.

Gary Vance Davis, Sr. departed this earth on Monday, October 31, 2016, at Masonic Pathways in Alma, Michigan at the age of 52 years. He was born on March 15, 1964 in Saginaw, Michigan to Carolyn (McHenry) and Lamar G. Davis.
Gary was the second oldest of five (5) children. He accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour at an early age. Gary attended Saginaw High School and later served with the United States Navy. He moved to Midland, Michigan in 2005 and united in marriage with Danielle LaToya Davis on January 13, 2006.

Davis, Midland, Michigan; daughters: Cierra Farmer, Bay City, Michigan, Andrea (Jason) Petty, Finesse Davis, and Kires Davis, Chula Vista, California; sisters and brothers: Tony (Jarita) Davis, Pasadena, California; Angela Davis, Grand Rapids, Michigan, Oregon Davis, Saginaw, Michigan, Reggie (Tenisha) Davis, Grand Rapids, Michigan; nieces: Delonna Davis and great niece, Carmen Davis, Charquia Stephenson, Taquisha Davis, Saginaw, Michigan; Danasia Davis, Grand Rapids, Michigan; nephews: Pierre Davis, Richard Davis, Donquise Davis, Grand Rapids, Michigan; Quintel Macon, Denzel Davis, Columbus, Ohio; aunts: Clara DeGroat, Bobbie Davis, Florence Hall, Vivian Harmon, Saginaw, Michigan; uncles: Dr. Larry E. Davis, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Oscar DeGroat, Sandy Hall, Bobby Harmon, Saginaw, Michigan; brothers-in-law: Hiawatha (Tracie) Smith, Shawatha Smith, Christopher Lawrence, Saginaw, Michigan; sister-in-law: Demica Smith, Tyler, Texas; grandchildren: Justin Farmer, Julian and Aliyah Petty, Demarcus Allen, Jr., DAsia Allen, Jadyn and Dominic Kevil, Skye and Marrion Clemmons; a host of other relatives and friends.
Several family members preceded Gary in death: his parents Carolyn McHenry Davis, Lamar G. and Mattie M. Davis; paternal grandparents, Clara and Kires Davis; maternal grandparents, Armon and Naomi McHenry; and uncle, Lavonne Davis.
