Geneva Bragg Bardoni passed away Friday, December 14, 2012 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Age 62 years. She was born October 4, 1950 in Saginaw, Michigan to Nathan Evans and Melvina Boose Evans.She was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan. Geneva accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age while attending Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Steubenville, Ohio. Geneva attended public schools in Steubenville, Ohio and Saginaw, Michigan. She won Miss Diplomatic in Saginaw, Michigan in 1970. She was employed at various nursing facilities and loved working with people and children. She was the owner of two successful businesses, B & B Daycare and B & B Cleaning. Geneva loved to shop, cook and live life to the fullest. She always wanted to keep people happy.Geneva leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Tomecca Bragg; eight stepchildren; several grandchildren including Jordan and Gabriel Bragg; five great-grandchildren; six sisters, Rosi (Booker) Walker, Mattie (Melvin) Patterson, Pastor Florene Frierson, Ann Thompson, Mary Evans, Bertha Smith; one brother, Glenn McKinney; several nieces and nephews; two aunts, Annie Ruth Moore, Shirley Smith; one uncle, Reverend Charlie R. Boose; one sister-in-law, Brenda McCoy; one brother-in-law, John (Mary Anne) Bardoni; many other relatives and friends including two special grandchildren, Shannon Stack and Donald Carrigan.She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Bardoni; mother and father, Nathan and Melvina Evans; two brothers, James and Willie McCoy; one sister, Lucille Larry; two brothers-in-law, Leon Queen and Kinch Larry.The family would like to express special thanks to Dr. Javier Diaz and the MICU Nursing Pod2 at Henry Ford Hospital, Dr. Ninan, Dr. C. Epplett, Ivan E. Phillips and the staff of Paradise Funeral Chapel.
