December 17, 1953 — May 31, 2021

Minister Geneva Henderson-Williams passed away on May 31, 2021 at her home due to a lengthy illness. Geneva was born December 17, 1953 in Pittsview, Alabama, to Rochelle and Ella Mae Henderson.

Geneva graduated from Saginaw High School, Class of 1973. Mrs. Williams gave her life to the Lord at an early age. She was a minister of the gospel, prophetic in her gifts, and a prayer warrior. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin to many and hands down an awesome cook. Mrs. Williams was employed with Saginaw Preparatory Academy as a Bus Aide for nine years; her job was her passion because she loved children, and imparting wisdom and knowledge of God into them. She was loved by many who she came in contact with.

Mrs. Williams was a devoted member of Holy Communion Gospel Center where she was a prayer warrior and prophet to the body of Christ. She loved God wholeheartedly. She was a go-getter for souls for God’s Kingdom. Mrs. Williams also kept her family laughing with jokes and she loved playing dominos. She was an awesome cook. Her peach cobbler was on point at all times.

Geneva leaves to cherish her memories her devoted husband of 22 years, Lonnie Williams; children, Daffiney Henderson, Saginaw, Michigan, Stefon A. and Antwone Henderson, both of Atlanta, Georgia; four grandsons, Stefon, Jr., Lamar, Malakai, Rahmik Henderson and granddaughter, Jamaia Henderson; three sisters, Geraldine (Maurice) Southern, Saginaw, Michigan, Susie Henderson, Columbus, Georgia, Edith Bass, College Park, Georgia; four brothers, Ray Henderson, Flint, Michigan, Rochelle Hinton Jr., Tinton Falls, New Jersey, Rochelle Henderson, Warner Robins, Georgia and Larry Henderson, Columbus, Georgia; brothers-in-law, Vernon, Darryl and Joel Marable, all of Atlanta, Georgia; sisters-in-law, Judy Cooper, Vickie Williams, both of Atlanta, Georgia; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other loved ones and friends, including special friends, Pastor Charlene Washington, Mary Mayo, Patricia Long, Diedra Cobb, Gwen Pacheco and the Nichols family.
