Geneva Martin passed away Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Covenant Healthcare Medical Center Harrison. She was born May 15, 1953 in Saginaw, Michigan to Helen and Johnny Williams Jr.
Geneva was born and raised in Saginaw, Michigan. She was a long time member of Zion Baptist Church and recently became a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church of Burt, Michigan. She graduated from Saginaw High School with the Class of 1971. She was employed by Kinder Kare. She was a loving and caring woman who loved the Lord.
She leaves to cherish her memory three children,Tamara and Adrian Bettis, Nikia Martin; one stepson, Patrick Martin Sr.; three godchildren, Mackangela Williams, Freddrick Chapman and Telisa Pruitt; six grandchildren, Aspen and RJinaye Bettis, Patrick and Paris Martin, Ziyan Cook, JoVontae Jackson; two great grandchildren, Xavier Bettis, Juan Martin; two sisters, Diane (John Henry) McMillon, Hazel (Arthur) Richardson; one brother-in-law, Charles Blakney; three aunts, Cangela Williams, Marion Williams, Elsie Sam; Martin family; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Charles Bettis, Anna Brown, DeWayne Richardson, Mary Joyce Dalton.
Geneva was preceded in death by her husband, Charley Martin, parents, Helen and Johnny Williams Jr.; sisters, Linda Blakney and Sterling Williams; brother, Larry Williams.
