George Young Stevenson

Mr. George Young Stevenson King George passed away Friday, December 23, 2016 in Inglewood, California. Age 66 years. George was born July 16, 1950 in Saginaw, Michigan to Cole Young and Betty (Evans) Stevenson.
George graduated from Saginaw High School, he also studied at Delta College. George was loved and will be missed by MANY. He loved people and never met a stranger; he loved music and was known for singing through the neighborhoods with either his guitar or harmonica.
George leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Betty Stevenson; sisters, Cherie and Terri Stevenson; brothers, Cole Duane, Julian, Tony, Lance and Torrion Stevenson; aunts, Diane Evans, Marian Hardaway, Martina McKinnon and Mildred Landrum; uncle, Donnie Stevenson; 14 nieces and nephews, including 3 very special nieces, LaQuina and Cherie Lebron, Melanie Stevenson; 2 very special nephews, Toriano Smith and Julian Taylor; 17 great-nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends. George had many "adopted children" that affectionately called him "dad".
George was preceded in death by his father, Cole Y. Stevenson; his grandparents; 6 aunts and 1 uncle.
