Georgia L. Crowder Mack

November 22, 1940 — October 17, 2018

Sister Georgia L. Crowder Mack was born November 30, 1940, to the late Walter and Hattie
Crowder in Grenada Mississippi. She departed this life on Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at
her home in Belleville, Michigan. She committed her life to Christ and was baptized in 1950 at Bell Flower Baptist Church in Grenada, Mississippi.

Sister Mack was a faithful member of #2 Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, serving as Pastor's Aide and as Missionary Board President.

Sister Mack worked for General Motors for 31.5 years. Upon her retirement in February 1999,
she moved to Chicago, Illinois to care for her sister, Frances Freelon, for 18 years.
She was married 19 years to Mr. James H. Mack; from this union, a daughter and two sons were born: James Jr., Valeria and Kenneth.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished by her daughter, Valeria K. Patrick, Belleville, Michigan and son, Kenneth N. (Brenda) Mack, Columbus, Ohio; two sisters, Frances Freelon, Chicago, Illinois, Theresa Ann (Reverend Ralph) Brown, Stone Mountain, Georgia; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by both parents Walter and Hattie Crowder, (1) son, James H.
Mack, Jr., (3) brothers, Frank Crowder, Sam Crowder, Willie L. Crowder; (6) sisters, Almeter
Greer, Rosella James , Annie Mae Brown, Dorothy Sigh, Abbie Lee Washington, Lee Essie
Taylor.
