Our beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, god-mother and friend, Georgia Lee Lewis Pee Wee passed away Monday, August 13, 2012 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 47 years. She was born September 20, 1964 in Bay City, Michigan to Marcel and David Coleman.
Georgia was employed at McLaren Bay Region as an x-ray receptionist. She was a faithful member of Second Baptist Church where she served as president of the Culinary Committee and parent advisor to the Triumphant Praise Dance Ministry. Georgia enjoyed cooking and preparing meals for her family. She loved spending time with her friends and family. Georgia will forever be in our hearts and she will be truly missed.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, John Lewis; two daughters, Shanice and DaKeydra Lewis; one son, Dedrick Lewis; god-children, Marcellus Coleman, Dezmen Thomas, Aerabella Davis; three sisters, Dorothy Ann Morgan, Marie Davis, Janice Staples; three brothers, David, Andre and James Coleman; three aunts, Lucille Qualls, Irene Holmes, Estella Byrd; three uncles, W.M. Qualls, Robert Wilson, Isaiah Coleman; mother and father-in-law, Mary Johnson, John Lewis Sr.; one sister-in-law, Emma Jean Manley; two brothers-in-law, Andrew Scott, James Lewis; many other relatives and friends including a special cousin, Davannah Wilson, a special friend, Gwendolyn Gray.
Georgia was preceded in death by her parents, David and Marcel Coleman; two sisters, Rea-Nalda Conrad, Pearlie Hill; one aunt, Lizzie Wilson; one nephew, Anthony Coleman.
