Gina (Lansing) Best

Miss Gina Best gained her heavenly wings on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at her residence in Lansing, Michigan. Age 57 years. She was born December 15, 1959 to Clyde C. Jr. and Mary L. Best in Manhattan, New York. Gina loved to sing, and had won numerous talent shows in the Lansing area. She also enjoyed dancing, playing games, listening to Michael Jackson music, and talking to family and friends. Her biggest joy was her children, whom she adored, Sam, Michael, and Shameka. She was very proud of their accomplishments and would talk about them non-stop. Gina also had special love for her grandchildren.

Gina leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Samuel (Yili) Comming, Michael (Shannon) Best; daughter, Shameka (Janessa) Best; grandchildren, LaMya McKissic, Tyann Best, Ja'lin Best, Ryan Comming, Izabell, and Juanita; sisters, Heather and Michelle (Gerald) from Lansing, Michigan, Mae from Florida; brothers Tyrone (Pat), Gregory, both from Lansing, Michigan, Ricky (Sadie) from Savannah, Georgia; nieces, Alicia, Bethany, Malika, Lena, Ashley, Whitney, and Elaina; nephews, Tyrell, Christopher, Gregory, Ricky, Brandon, Joshua, Benjamin, Caleb, Jevon; special friends, Richard Comming, Kenneth Outlaw, and many other relatives and friends. Gina was preceded in death by her parents, and nephew, Martel.
