Glenn Brown

Mr. Glenn Gerald Brown was born February 14, 1956 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Robert Lee Brown and Earlene Price. He passed away Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Covenant Healthcare in Saginaw, Michigan. Age 63 years.

After graduating from high school, Glenn joined the United States Navy in 1973 during the Vietnam War. After his service in the Navy, he began working in the automotive industry and worked in this field until his retirement in 2009.

Glenn enjoyed challenging anyone to a game of dominoes, chess and horseshoes. He loved music and listened to a variety of artists. Cooking and grilling were two of his favorite hobbies. He loved to feed his family and friends.

Glenn became a father for the first time when his son Derrian Cooper was born in 1979. He was such a proud father on this day and the days to come. He later had a beautiful daughter in 1996 and named her Mariah Brown. Chayanne, his baby girl, was born a few years later. In 1998, Glenn met the love of his life, Clematee “Tee.” They shared their lives together for twenty-one years until his death.

Glenn always had a smile and an outgoing personality. Everyone loved to be around him, and they called him “G.G.B.” His presence smile and energy will truly be missed.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee Brown and Earlene Price; grandson, Derrius Cooper; sister, Geri Gilyard-Morris; grandparents, Martha and Carl Price; aunts, Ida Jean Price, Johnnie Mae Webb; niece, Onalecia Underwood; nephew, Jason Chapman; cousins, Stacy Price, Earlene Adway.

He leaves precious memories with one son, Derrian Cooper; two daughters, Mariah and Chayanne; Clematee "Tee;" stepdaughter, Adriann (Dre) Burns; grandson, Derrius Cooper; sisters, Greta (Ernest) Jones, Gogi (Tyrone Sr.) West, Pila Jones; brother, Gregory Gilyard; eight nieces; four nephews; aunt, Irene Parker; many cousins, other relatives and friends.
