Gloria D. Jones "Tiny"

Mrs. Gloria D. Jones “Tiny” went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at the age of 76 years. Gloria was born on December 14, 1945, in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late William Sr., and Margene Crudup.

Gloria was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan. She retired from General Motors (Chevrolet Grey Iron Foundry). Gloria was a faithful and devoted member of Bethel AME Church, where she served on the Stewardess Board and the Nurses Guild. Gloria was also a member of the Buena Vista Scholarship Committee. She loved attending sewing classes at the Delta Annex.

Gloria’s memory will be cherished by her children, Zina Smith, Wayne Jones, Earl Jones Jr., and Detra Jones; one goddaughter, Jackie (Michael) Tyson; twelve grandchildren, Donterrion and Deleon Rodgers, Daija Smith, Nickolas and Nehemia Jones, E’Shon, Tierce, Jazpur, Nadeje, Aydrien, and Jaylen Jones, and L.J. Haynes; one god-granddaughter, Morgan Loster; one brother, Louis Jr. (Selene) Sutton; one niece, Marquita Crudup; one nephew, Jerry Crudup; and a very special cousin, Carl “Mac” Williams.

Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Lamont Jones Sr.; parents, William and Margene Crudup; one brother, William Crudup Jr.; and one sister, Barbara Crudup.
