Ms. Gloria Jean Bibbs passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2022, at Beaumont Hospital in Taylor, Michigan. Age 66 years. Gloria was born September 6, 1955, in Greenwood, Mississippi, to Estella and Jethro Bibbs.

Gloria was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan. She attended Victorious Believers Ministries under Pastor Christopher V. Pryor. Gloria attended Delta College and was a homemaker. She loved her children and extended family. She would do anything to help in their time of need. Gloria was funny, loved to watch scary movies, and enjoyed cooking for the entire family. She will be missed by family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her memory: two sons, Danielle (Sharvella) Bibbs, and Rico Bibbs (Marquice); three sisters, Ollie Cox, Katherine Tolden, and Deborah Green; two brothers, Walter (Susan) Bibbs, and Jasper Bibbs;  grandchildren, DaQuarius, DeMarkus, Keashia, Dan Jr., Jacob, Marcus, and Messiah Bibbs, and Auden Roberson; great-granddaughter, Kamelah Colvin; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; special nieces, Tameka Perkins, and  Michelle Hines; special friend, Oscar Blue; special cousin, Mercies Jones.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents Estella and Jethro Bibbs; one brother, Lendell Bibbs; three sisters, Mary Jackson, Helen Bibbs, and Barbara Perkins.

The family would like to express special thanks for the love and support of our family and friends; Bishop Don W. Shelby Jr. and First Lady Evangelist Bonita Andrea Shelby, and Ivan E. Phillips and the Staff of Paradise Funeral Chapel for making this a wonderful celebration of our mom’s life.
