Our beloved Ms. Gloria Jones departed this earth to her heavenly home in Glory at Covenant HealthCare Cooper on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at the age of 74 years. She was born June 22, 1948, in Rome, Georgia to James Gibbins and Louise Allen.
Gloria will be missed by her companion of more than 27 years, her siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Gloria enjoyed cooking, going to the casino, and spending time with her family and friends.
She leaves to cherish her memory her partner, Kenneth Chester, and his family; two sisters, Alicia Tinsley, and Alblene Gaines; two brothers, James and Wayne Gibbins; thirty-five nieces and nephews; fifty great-nieces and nephews; special friends, Martha Witherspoon, Malone Reed, Mary McDole, and godson, Shaunice Santos
Gloria was preceded in death by her father James Gibbins; mother, Louise Allen; parents, Albert and Luestisher Wilkins who raised her; sisters, Diane Campbell, and Lue-Rene Brown; brothers, Ivory Joe Allan, and John Spivey; nephews, Anthony and Salathean Tinsley, and Jamer Parker; niece Herletta Tinsley; and best friend, Willie Mae Sykes
